It is said that the Hirahara-no-Taki (the Hirahara Waterfall) was discovered
by Jikaku-Daishi (a monk) through a revelational in a dream in the 870s.
People's faith in this waterfall has been kept for 1,000 years.
Yaku-Otoko (men in an unlucky year) in white clothing hold a Mizugori ceremony.
