Playing sumo solely

At Oyamazumi-Jinja (shrine) 大山祇神社 in Omijima-cho, Imabari C. Ehime Pref.
A sumo wrestler fights a sprit of rice three times. The spirit of rice won 2 to 1.

In Japanese, "Hitori-zumo(sumo)一人相撲" means "Fight against windmills".
It is used to express that trying hard without any support of others and the effort was futile.
