This is the last special function of the 14 rituals of Naoi Shinji.

Priests invite three gods: Owari Ookunitama-no-Ookami, Oomitama-no-Ookami and Munakata-no-Ookami, to choya
and pray for saftey from plagues and prosperity of industries.
They then shoot arrows made of utsugi (deutzia) with a bow made of kuwa (mulberry tree)and drive out the evil.
