Torii

Torii is a gate to demarcate the sacred precincts of the shrine
and make people aware that they are entering a sacred area when they pass through it.

There are many variations of torii shape.	There are wood, stone and concreat torii.
Very famous torii of Itsukushima Shrine	There is a custom of offering vermilion gate at Inari shrines. The color simboloze lightning (It reminds us rain rice growth). Originaly Inari shrines were for farmers, however now people wish prosperous business to gods of Inari shrine.
