The Kanji "Tsuruma" is ’ß•‘ (lit. cranes dance).
People often call "Tsurumai Koen"like a name of the JR or subway station.
However, the formal and original name is ‚Â‚é‚Ü(Tsuruma). "Tsuruma" means "a place where water runs".
Later people use the kanji ’ß•‘ as phonetic equivalent and read it "Tsurumai"
An elementary school near here is named "Tsuruma"Eelemetary School"
and library is "Tsuruma" Library..
