Wakeoe Shrine
Wakeoe jinja

It is unclear when Wakeoe shrine was established,
however it was already listed on the EngishikiShinmei-cho. edited in the years of Engi. In 1584, 織田信雄 (Oda Nobukatsu) ordered to
move the shrine to the present place from Sembonsugi
(300m northeast from the shrine). The former structures
burnt down in 1945 during the World War II, then re-built in 1966.
