Yokiso/—g‹P‘‘
Ito Jirozaemon's second home

Yokiso was built in 1918 by Mr. Ito Jirouzaemon Suketami as his villa..
He was the 15th head of Matsuzakaya mercer
(present Matsuzakaya Department store)
which established in 1611, and also a founder of Matsuzakaya Department Store.

Yokiso was built by the concept of Shugakuin-rikyu (Imperial villa in Kyoto,
which is well know with the beautiful Japanese gardens).
So, the moon viewed from the garden might be very beautiful
like as it from Shugakuin-rikyu.
