Bonsai is an art because it expresses the pure beauty and simplicity of
nature itself.
It shows us the vitality of trees in nature, as some grow straight and
simple, and some get moss
and grows with its trunk or branch twisted by enduring snow, wind and storms.

Bonsai exhibition called "銘風盆栽展(Meifu bonsai-ten)" is held
in January at Fukiage Hall every year.
