Aichi Prefecture ranks the first in largest number of temples.
4,111 temples according to the yearbook of 2005.
The 2nd is Osaka Pref (2,993). and the 3rd is Hyogo Pref.(2,854)
Most people believe that Kyoto pref is the No.1, but it is not true.

The Nobi Plane is very rich land and could have been get good harvest.
Rich land brought up economic power.
Besides the Owari Clan promoted Buddhism.
Then many temples for praying rich harvest were built here in Aichi Pref.
